Does your chapter have an exciting event that deserves the spotlight? Now’s your chance to be the star of ELA for a day! Chapters can take over the Society’s Instagram account to showcase their amazing activities—whether it’s a thrilling conference, a creative fundraiser, a festive holiday celebration, or an inspiring public reading.

Leading up to your takeover, you’ll coordinate with the Central Office to plan and promote it. This could include designing an eye-catching poster to display at your event, encouraging attendees to follow ELA on social media. On takeover day (or week), you’ll be able to submit posts, stories, and reels to ELA to be uploaded to social media.
Kick off your takeover with a warm welcome post and wrap it up with a call to action for other chapters to get in on the fun and request their own takeover!
