Second ELA Writing Challenge: Letters

The second ELA Writing Challenge of the year will take place between January 29 and February 12, 2024. We are asking students to write a letter of no more than 200 words to a character in the ELA Honor Society Big Read reader Dear Martin or a character from another book that they have read recently. Students should use their letters to give a perspective on a key issue in the novel readers may not have considered previously.

The deadline for submissions via our ELA AwardSpring platform is February 12, 2024.
