The ELA Honor Society would like to invite middle school students to participate in its first annual Literary Costume Competition, which is open now through November 8, 2023.
We are asking ELA chapters to organize a day on which students can come to school dressed as their favorite author or book character. The most creative and representative costumes can be submitted to our competition by Chapter Advisors.
Teachers should upload up to five photographs of their most creatively-dressed students or group of students who will be entered into the competition and could win up to $50.
We encourage students to think outside the box and to work with others to create unique costume ideas.
Applications can be made via our online form. Winners will be announced via email to Chapter Advisors.
